The Musical Frog was invented 400 years
ago as a musical percussion instrument. It is part of the Box percussion
family. The Frogs are made of a unique hardwood . It was invented in the
late Baroque Era in Salamanca Spain.
Inside the city of Salamanca resides the magic of the Lucky Frog. The
legend says if you see the frog, in the wall of the 8 towers you will be
very lucky!! You will return to Salamanca in another life. The
enchantment of this city has remained throughout the centuries.
You can use the big end of the stick and rub it along the frogs back.
The frog is hollow and the vibration resonates throughout the frog. The
smaller frog sounds just like a tree frog. The medium sounds just like a
Garden Toad. The larger frogs sound just like the Bullfrog.
They are used as a musical instrument or a Child’s Toy. They also make a
great conversation piece, or the perfect gift for the frog lover.
